etyb-skills is the
engineering team you just installed.

Everything that makes /etyb work — the specialists, the protocols, the sub-agents, the vendor knowledge — lives in one public repo. Free today, and the foundation etyb.ai is building on.

What it is

One skill. Five things inside it.

etyb-skills packages a senior engineering leader as a single Agent Skill — open-spec, installable on any compliant harness, and the substrate the etyb.ai product is built on.

/etyb 1

The only trigger surface

One skill, explicit or auto-triggered. No peer commands, no role slash commands competing for attention — every review, plan, or research task runs through the sub-agents below, dispatched by the orchestrator.

agents/ 5

Model-tiered sub-agents

Explorer, planner, reviewer, stack-researcher, cartographer — dispatched into their own contexts so your session stays clean. Light work (search-and-cite, fetch-and-distill) pins to the smallest model tier; extensive-reasoning work inherits your own session model, which is always the ceiling. Ships via the Claude Code plugin — the npx skill-only install doesn't carry them.

hooks/ 5

Advisory, never blocking

No test file before an edit. No review evidence before a commit. Merging without a green test run. Every hook surfaces a warning outside the LLM and gets out of the way — visibility, not a hard gate.

references/ 29

Specialists, protocols, verticals

14 specialist engineering roles, 9 always-on protocols (TDD, verification, review, and more, no opt-out), 6 vertical-domain architects — all internal references read on demand, never loaded until the work needs them.

stacks/ 538

Currency-stamped vendor knowledge

13 vendor Stacks, one page per product plus composed per-role views. Every page carries last_verified_on and an authoritative source — and when the in-repo page doesn’t answer the question, the stack-researcher goes to the vendor’s live docs instead of guessing.

Where this fits

etyb-skills is the open layer. etyb.ai is what we're building on it.

Everything markdown-shaped — the specialist knowledge, the protocols, the vendor Stacks, the discipline — ships here, MIT-licensed, free, and runs on any harness that speaks the open Agent Skills standard.

etyb.ai is the product we're building in parallel: the same engineering principles, packaged as a complete workspace. It's not ready yet — when it is, this site's homepage will reflect that directly. Until then, etyb.ai and this page both point at the same thing: etyb-skills, installable right now.
